Operation Rescue's support is available to individuals and their immediate families who are in danger due to their support of allied forces or Western-funded NGOs and are seeking safe housing and relocation assistance. Preferably, the key applicant is eligible for a pathway forward to a final destination country and has their own financial sourcing and/or sponsors.

What services does OR provide?

Operation Rescue has the ability to identify and offer safe housing, relocation support such as transportation and helps at border crossings, on-going visa and documentation support, and food and basic amenities while in waiting.

How can I get involved?

There are various ways to support our mission:

1) Pray for families in harms way and in transition;

2) Make financial contributions for families patiently waiting for their approval to finally relocate;

3) Sign up with your local resettlement agency to welcome, orient and  befriend incoming refugees;

4) Participate in the collection of quality household items for their new homeand donation of household items for resettlement and volunteering to assist families acclimate to their new country.

How much does it cost to relocate 1 person?

There are many expenses involved in the safe extraction, documentation, transport and stay of a person and/or a family and prices may vary due to government changes to visa regulations, inflation, and specific needs of an individual or family. Also, OR has no control over the speed in which refugees are processed by international migration systems and organizations or government policies. Therefore stays in so-called "lily-pad" countries are highly unpredictable in terms of timeframe and long stays can turn costly. Operation Rescue can only function on behalf of the beneficiaries through the volunteer contribution of donors and sponsors.

How much does it cost to sponsor a family of 4?

Generally speaking, it is recommended to raise $2,425 per person for a timeframe of the first 3 months.  There are many expenses involved in the resettlement of a family.  There are start-up costs which include things such as household items, furniture, linens, food staples, clothing, utility connection fees, mobile phones, etc.  There are also basic monthly costs such as rent, transportation and insurance, communication, etc. There are also variations in the cost of living between states. In reality, unless employment is obtained immediately upon arrival, it takes longer to acclimate and be self-sufficient. Therefore it is recommended to think and prepare for 6 months.
